Maverick Airlines operates Beechcraft 1900D aircraft. For more information on these planes: click here.

  • What do I need to bring?

Guests over 18 must bring valid photo identification for check-in. Cameras and video cameras are recommended, as well as sunglasses and sunscreen based on the flight type and the time of year. Comfortable clothing and shoes are highly recommended.

  • Where and when will I be picked up at my hotel?

In Las Vegas, guests will be assigned a pickup time and location at the time of booking. Guests will be transferred via Maverick Airlines transportation.

  • Does your complimentary shuttle pick up from all hotels?

Maverick Airlines provides complimentary transportation to our Henderson terminal from any hotel within 5 miles of the Strip.

  • What will our shuttle look like?

Maverick Airlines has three types of buses—which seat 24, 32 and 35 passengers. They are silver and clearly marked with our red and black Maverick Aviation Group logo. We also have several white vans displaying the Maverick Aviation Group logo that can seat up to 12 passengers.

  • What are the requirements for my child to qualify as a lap child, meaning that he/she may fly along with me on my lap without being required to purchase a seat for the child?

Your child must be under 2 years of age, weighing 25lbs. or less. Parents are required to purchase a seat for the child if both of these requirements are not met.

  • Does Maverick make any exceptions regarding their lap child policy?

As governed by the FAA, we are not permitted to make any exceptions to this policy.

  • How does Maverick verify the age of a child to determine if he/she qualifies as a lap child?

Maverick follows the same policy as all of the commercial air carriers. This policy is regulated by the FAA and states that parents must have proof of child’s age (i.e. government documentation) if they wish to take the child on a flight as a lap child.

  • Can a child/minor fly unaccompanied?

Passengers under the age of 18 must be accompanied on the flight by an adult.

Motion discomfort products are available for purchase in the gift shop. Motion sickness bags are located onboard the aircraft in the seat back pockets.

  • I use an oxygen tank for medical necessity - can I bring it on my flight?

Maverick Airlines allows oxygen condensers and tanks as long as there is a clearly visible ‘D.O.T. Approved’ stamp or placard on it.

  • Are service animals permitted on Maverick airplanes?

Yes, with restrictions. Maverick Airlines must be notified 72 hours prior to departure of the passenger's intent to travel with a service animal. Per Federal regulations [14 CFR 382.117], the service animal must accompany the passenger at the seat in which they sit and cannot obstruct an aisle or any area needed in an emergency evacuation. The animal must be secure during takeoff/landing and must be transported in an animal carrier that fits underneath a passenger seat. Animal carrier space is limited and measures only 16” x 16” x 9.5” high. All animal carriers, with the animal inside, must be able to fit in that space. If the animal carrier does not fit in the 16” x 16” x 9.5” high space, then transportation of the service animal will be denied. Transportation of the service animal will also be denied if no proof is provided that the animal is a service animal. Transportation of unusual service animals (e.g., snakes, other reptiles, ferrets, rodents, and spiders) will also be denied.
